Connoisseur Media Hot AC “Star 106” KLSS-FM Mason City IA has debuted a new on-air lineup as it drops Westwood One programming for locally originating logs under new Program Director Molly Penny.

Penny joins KLSS-FM and sister Classic Hits “Superhits 102.7” KYTC Northwood from Linder Radio Group where she held multiple roles including Brand Manager for the company’s three station cluster in Owatonna MN, Music Director of Hot AC “Q102” KQIC Willmar, morning co-host on AC 100.9 KOWZ Owatonna and afternoon host at CHR “Hot 96.7” KDOG Mankato under the on-air name ‘Mollywood’.

She will also anchor middays on KLSS-FM as part of a new lineup that includes Compass Media Networks’ “Anna & Raven” in mornings, WALK Patchogue NY afternoon host Christina Kay in afternoons, and Skyview Networks’ “XYZ with Erik Zachary” at night.

KLSS-FM had been running Westwood One’s Hot AC network since then-owner Alpha Media’s small market staff purges in May 2024.
