Veteran Rochester NY personality Steve Hausmann is coming out of retirement to make daily appearances on Pure Media Group’s “CJ Country” 1140 WCJW Warsaw NY and its six translators: 100.9 W265DQ Alden, 100.9 W265BX Geneseo, 103.7 W279BO Warsaw, 104.3 W282BQ Avon, 105.5 W288BZ Batavia, and 104.9 W285EZ Arcade covering the parts of Western New York between Rochester and Buffalo.
Hausmann will provide daily Sports updates on Jimi Jamm’s morning show at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30am. He previously spent 18 years in mornings at Audacy Country 92.5 WBEE from 2001 until his retirement in 2019 following stints in Rochester at 1180 WHAM, 96.5 WCMF, 97.9 WPXY, and 100.5 WVOR as part of a 51 year broadcasting career that also included time at WCOZ and WHDH Boston and as a television sportscaster.
Hausmann’s debut will coincide with WCJW’s expansion to 98.3 WVIN-FM Bath NY.
