Cox Adult R&B “Kiss 104.1” WALR Palmetto/Atlanta GA has made some lineup adjustments.
Friends of Georgia Radio reports that APD/midday host ‘Dyron Ducati’ Walker has exited after seven years with the station. Ducati joined WALR in April 2019 as midday host and rose to APD in August 2024. Ducati began his career as morning show producer/co-host for Hip Hop “Q93” WQUE New Orleans in 2004. He relocated to Atlanta in 2009 and spent a decade as a traffic reporter and voicetracker for multiple markets at iHeartMedia and hosting weekends/fill-ins at Rhythmic CHR “Wild 105.7/96.7” WWVA-FM/WWLG.
Monie Love, who has hosted afternoons since May 2019, is now in middays. Prior to Atlanta, Love spent time in middays at WTLC-FM Indianapolis and in mornings at WRNB & WPHI Philadelphia as well as co-hosting Ed Lover’s Reach Media syndicated morning show.
Taking Love’s spot in afternoons is weekend host Ramona DeBreaux. DeBreaux joined WALR last June following a fifteen year run at Audacy’s “V103” WVEE mostly in middays until departing in January 2023 to focus on writing and television production. She also spent twelve years in middays at Radio One Hip Hop “Hot 97.5” turned “Hot 107.9” WHTA from 1995 to 2007.
