Jared Goodell’s Community Media Inc. has closed on its $850,000 purchase of four stations and two translators in the Brattleboro VT/Keene NH market and has launched three new brands.
The Country format that had been on “Country 99.5” 1450 WTSA/99.5 W258DW Brattleboro has moved to the former Sports 93.5 WEEY Swanzey NH and the former Hot AC “Penguin” 96.3 WFYX Walpole NH as “Country 93.5“. The Country format had launched on WTSA on January 1. WEEY previously was part of the Sports network based at Audacy’s 93.7 WEEI-FM Boston.
Classic Rock “The Peak” 101.9 WKKN Westminster VT has flipped to AC “Magic 102” sharing the same branding and on-air lineup as new sister “Magic 96.7” WTSA-FM Brattleboro, but separate music logs.
1450 WTSA/99.5 W258DW Brattleboro and “Penguin” simulcaster 106.5 W293AB Keene NH have flipped to All-News as “All News Radio“.
Also included in the deal were former WKKN simulcaster 100.7 WTHK Wilmington VT and WFYX simulcaster 104.7 W284AB Jamaica VT.
