Sun Broadcasting CHR “B103.9” WXKB Cape Coral/Fort Myers FL has tabbed Christian ‘CHOFF’ Hoffer as its new morning host alongside Marija Puidak.
Hoffer has been serving as night host on Hot AC 96.9 WINK-FM Fort Myers since January and hosting afternoons on CHR “Z99” ZFZZ-FM Grand Cayman since April. He previously spent three years hosting nights at CHR “94.7 Hits-FM” WYUL Chateaugay NY/Montreal and held on-air and mixer roles at iHeartMedia Country “B93.7” WBCT and CHR 104.5 WSNX Grand Rapids between 2017 and 2020.
He shared, “My radio journey started in Grand Rapids, MI about a decade ago when @stickradio gave me my first shot on the air. Since then I’ve been held numerous day parts at a ton of great stations around the US, Canada, and beyond but starting today I officially get to begin earning my morning show stripes. I’m beyond excited to continue building on the legacy of this iconic station and work alongside my co-host @marijaonair who is a total rockstar. We are brewing up an epic show to wake SWFL up proper from 6-10am Monday-Friday. Not as excited to wake up at 3:30am every day but we’ll get used to it.”
Hoffer fills the position that had been held by Jason ‘Budman’ Paige until his departure in May.
