FCC Actions
The FCC has announced it will hold Auction 114 of 132 commercial FM allocations starting on February 2, 2027.
All parties that wish to participate in the auction must file an application to participate in the auction with preferred site coordinates between September 14 and 30th. During that time frame, a freeze will be placed on any other minor change proposals by existing FM licensees. Upfront payments by auction participants must be made by December 3

Open in new tab An Order to Pay or Show Cause has been issued to Eternity Media Group’s 890 WHJA Laurel MS for $16,956.45 in unpaid regulatory fees between 2019 and 2025.
License Cancellations
The FCC has cancelled Morris Broadcasting Company’s 1300 WIMG Trenton NJ. The commission had sent a letter in May asking for the station’s status that went unanswered. At the time the FCC noted in April 2025 the station has lost its lease with Crown Castle, but the following month without any STA filed it was transmitting an open carried, but when monitored again in April 2026 WIMG was silent again meaning it was silent or operating with unauthorized facilities for over a year.
The commission has also deleted the Hector Guevara led Centro Cristiano de Vida Eterna’s 107.1 W296CQ Hempstead NY following an informal complaint that it has not operated and that its authorized facilities that were filed for in 2019 may never have been built. The licensee failed to respond to the FCC’s inquiry.
After taking it silent last August, Townsquare Media has requested the cancellation of 1230 KEXO and 96.5 K243CP Grand Junction CO.
After shutting down last December following the collapse of its tower, Kansas Broadcasting Company has turned in the license of 730 KLOE Goodland KS.
After going silent in July 2025 due to financial difficulties, WPJS Broadcasting has surrendered 1330 WPJS Conway/Myrtle Beach SC.

FM Booster Applications
Point Broadcasting Rhythmic Oldies “Old School 104.7” KOCP Oxnard CA proposes to move its booster KOCP-FM5 Las Flores Canyon to the KPMG Center in downtown Los Angeles where it will share a tower on the 28 story building’s roof with K-Love’s 92.7 K224EY. KOCP-FM5 will operate with a directional 1kW horizontal/242m increasing its parent station’s coverage to include much of Los Angeles down southwest towards Inglewood and Manhattan Beach and northward through Glendale and Pasadena. KOCP operates two other boosters in KOCP-FM3 Calabassas and KOCP-FM4 Granada Hills, which has a CP to improve coverage within the San Fernando Valley.
