After agreeing to expand in Nashville last week, John Fredericks’ Disruptor Radio is selling Conservative Talk “Freedom 1690” WMLB Avondale Estates/Atlanta GA to non-profit Heartland Signal for $450,000. The operator of Liberal Talk stations in Chicago, Minneapolis, and soon Phoenix, will begin operating via Time Brokerage Agreement on September 1.
KBNP Radio Inc. sells Silent 1410 KBNP Portland OR to Keith Shipman’s Horizon Broadcasting Group for $225,000. The former Business News station went silent last November. Horizon, which owns stations in Bend OR and Spokane WA, will begin opening KBNP via LMA on September 1.
After donating 95.9 KBCK (formerly KHNK) Columbia Falls/Kalispell MT to non-profit Forgotten Umbrella in 2023, Bee Broadcasting is using an attempted ownership cap waiver to repurchase the station for $275,000. If granted, KBCK would return to commercial operation and resume the Classic Country “Outlaw” brand it held until the donation closed in May 2025 with 1240 KHNK/102.7 K274CY returning to its former Sports format.
K-Love Inc. will purchase AAA “99.5 The Tee” KNTI Lakeport/Ukiah CA from Bicoastal Media for $320,000. Bicoastal will retain KNTI’s intellectual property and call letters.
Abercrombie Broadcasting FM Inc. sells Classic Country “Big Country 105.7” WQAH-FM Addison AL to Matthew Wesolowski’s SSR Communications for $180,000. Abercrombie will retain the intellectual property and call letters following the sale, with SSR reserving new WTNI call letters to take effect at closing.
Following its LMA to operate the station starting in April as “Kat Country 770/95.1“, Billy Buck’ Blevins’ Signal Hill Media Partners has agreed to purchase 770 WYRV/95.1 W236DQ Cedar Bluff VA from Faith Communications for $70,000.

Rehan Siddiqi’s FM Media Ventures purchases 102.5 K273DO Richmond TX (CP to move to 103.3) from Nazleen Makhani’s Leslie Broadcasting for $400,000. K273DO is currently licensed to rebroadcast an HD subchannel of Radio One’s 107.5 KGLK Lake Jackson, but the deal lists Patrick Broadcasting’s 700 KSEV Tomball as its parent. Siddiqi owns South Asian “103.5 Hum-FM” 1180 KGOL/K278DA Houston.
Peninsula Radio Group is acquiring fourteen translators in Alaska from Turquoise Broadcasting Company for $148,000. All of the translators in the deal have been rebroadcasting Peninsula owned stations. The translators are: 92.7 K224DX Seward, 93.3 K227BT Kachemak City, 93.7 K229BQ Anchor Point, 94.5 K233CD Homer, 94.7 K234DN Seward, 99.3 K257CB Anchor Point, 101.9 K270CH Homer, 102.1 K271DH Seward, 102.7 K274BO Kachemak City, 104.5 K283AB Soldotna, 104.9 K285EF Kenai, 104.9 K285HK Seward, 105.9 K290AA Seldovia, and 106.3 K292ED Kachemak City.
