As Beasley Media prepares to close on its $8 million sale of CHR CHR “Kiss 95.1” WNKS Charlotte and the license of Rock/Alternative “X107.5” KXTE Pahrump/Las Vegas NV to K-Love Inc., more details on the upcoming changes were revealed this morning.
WNKS morning hosts Maney & LauRen informed listeners today of how the transition will go down with their final show on WNKS set for Friday, September 18 and their debut on Classic Hits “K104.7” WKQC to follow on Monday, September 21. They noted that WKQC will shift their music to play music from the 1980s through 2000s whereas now it focuses significantly on the 80s, but goes back to the 1960s. WKQC will also continue to go all-Christmas in November.
Maney & LauRen also will continue to be heard in Augusta GA, Fayetteville NC, and Memphis.
