Race Taylor bid adieu to mornings at Audacy Classic Hits 101.1 WCBS-FM New York today.
A stalwart of the New York market since 1999, Taylor spent two decades at Hot AC 95.5 WPLJ where he presided over the brand’s sign-off in May 2019. He would join WCBS-FM in July 2020 as midday host and then moved to mornings in June 2025. Taylor also tracked in additional markets for Cumulus Media and Audacy during his tenures with both companies and worked at WKRQ Cincinnati and KDMX Dallas prior to his arrival in New York.
Taylor told listeners this morning of his departure, however the station has yet to announce plans for mornings.
