License Cancellations
In the course of one week, 28 full-power AM or FM licenses have been surrendered back to the FCC.
One-third of the license surrenders were Rufus Resources’ nine stations making up its Classic Country “No Bull Radio” in South Texas as the organization transitioned to a streaming-only platform. The licenses turned in by Rufus were: 92.1 KCAF-FM Kenedy, 95.3 KVWG-FM Dilley, 96.9 KWYU Christine, 100.1 KQBQ Myersville, 103.9 KBQQ Smiley, 104.3 KUFA Hebbronville, 105.9 KIBQ Austwell, 1280 KMFR/94.7 K234DG Pearsall, and 1490 KIBL/97.1 K246CP Beeville TX.

FCC Actions
The FCC has approved two modifications to the vacant Table of FM Allotments.
The Class A allocation on 97.5 Whitehall MI will be moved to 99.5 to clear short-spacing requirements to three stations. Previously utilized by Cumulus Media’s WLAW-FM until it was surrendered earlier this year, the 97.5 allocation was short-spaced to 96.9 WLAV-FM Grand Rapids by ten kilometers, 97.5 WJIM-FM Lansing by ten kilometers, and 98.1 WKLT Kalkaska by four kilometers.
The commission also deleted the Class A allocation on 105.5 Selmer TN for not complying with the minimum distance separation requirements as the allocation is nine kilometers short-spaced to 105.5 WVNA-FM Muscle Shoals AL.
