Bluewater Broadcasting has launched a pair of new stations in Montgomery, AL via HD2 to translator.
96.1 WQKS-HD2 is home to Soft AC “Lite 100.5” W263BX. Billed as “Montgomery’s Lite & Easy Favorites” the station is billing Madonna, Whitney Houston, Neil Diamond, Barry Manilow, Lionel Richie, Mariah Carey, The Beatles, Bryan Adams and Chicago as core artists. The station launched on August 6.
Today brought Classic Hip-Hop “Yo 107.1” W296AI fed by WQKS-HD3. That stations lists Salt N Pepa, Janet Jackson, LL Cool J, Snoop Dogg, TLC, Michael Jackson, Run DMC, and Tupac as core artists.
Bluewater also operates Classic Hits “Q96.1” WQKS, Urban “97.9 Jamz” WJWZ, Country “BamaCountry 98.9” WBAM, Modern Rock “104.9 The Gump” 1170 WACV/104.9 W285AJ, and “News Talk 107.9” WMRK.
