Midwest Communications continues its expansion into the Dakotas with the purchase of Radio Fargo-Moorhead from Jim Ingstad.

Original Report 9/18: The six Radio Fargo-Moorhead stations are Sports “740 The Fan” KVOX, News/Talk 790 KFGO, CHR “Y94” 93.7 WDAY-FM, Country “Bob 95” 95.1 KBVB, Talk “101.9 Talk-FM” KRWK, and Adult Hits “104.7 Popster-FM” KMJO. No terms have been announced for the purchase.
The acquisition of the six Fargo area stations follows Midwest’s purchase of Backyard Broadcasting’s seven station cluster in Sioux Falls, SD in July.
