103.5 KMGQ Cambria/San Luis Obispo CA dropped its AC “Magic 103.5” format after just seven weeks as programming of the station returns to its owner.
The former KTEA had been leased to Post Rock Communications and dropped its Standards/Jazz dayparted format for a mainstream AC format on August 27. After a week of silence, the station returned to its previous format on Friday, October 26 as management of the station reverted to its owner, Jim Kampschroer.
In the two months of the station operating as “Magic” the previous KTEA call letters were claimed by a station under construction in James Town WY so the station will remain as KMGQ.
