Jammin 103.1 IHeartAustin I Heart Radio Austin K276EL Clear Channel SXSW EvolutionUpdate 3/19: K276EL will remain with the Indie Rock based “IHeartRadio Austin” and not return to its prior “Jammin 103.1” Rhythmic Oldies format now that South By Southwest is over.

https://twitter.com/103iHeartAustin/status/313388845993451522

The company had been ambiguous in its plans for the translator after SXSW, but had been telling its Facebook followers that the previous format would be returning.

Original Report 3/7: Clear Channel has replaced Rhythmic Oldies “Jammin 103.1” K276EL Austin with a temporary micro-format dedicated to the South By Southwest Music, Film, and Interactive Festivals.

The micro-format, temporary branded as “IHeartAustin Radio” will run through March 17. During this time Clear Channel will feature coverage of the SXSW Interactive Festival and the music of those performing at the music festival including programming from its “Evolution” Dance Music channel.

At 8pm next week the station will feature a different artist each night playing and discussing their most recent album in its entirety. Artists to be featured are Jake Bugg, The Neighbourhood, Rhye, Hanni El Khatib, Alt-J and Youngblood Hawke.
