Sinclair Communications flipped Variety Hits “96.7 Bob-FM” KNOB Heraldsburg/Santa Rosa, CA to Alternative on Friday as “96X“.
The move comes following KNOB dropping from 1.8 to 0.9 in the recently released Spring Arbitron ratings. The move gives the market its first current based Rocker since 101.7 KXFX flipped to CHR in March 2011.
96X joins a cluster that includes Comedy “Funny 95.5” K238AF, AAA “The Krush 95.9” KRSH, Regional Mexican “Exitos 98.7” KXTS, and CHR “Y100.9” KSXY.
