William Blevins’ Signal Hill Media Partners is acquiring “Country Legends 550” WAME Statesville, NC from the George H. Buck, Jr. Trust for $280,000. As part of the deal the trust will transfer 92.9 W225BD Statesville to its WHVN Inc. Once Blevins pays off the note for the acquisition he will acquire the translator for $10. Until then he will lease it for $1 per year to continue rebroadcasting WAME.
Southern Belle and Seven Mountains Media continue their growth in Central Pennsylvania with the purchase of “Country 92.5” WJUN-FM Mexico and Classic Hits “Wheels 106.1” WLZS Beaver Springs from Radio Starview for $650,000. Seven Mountains will begin operating the stations via Time Brokerage Agreement in January.
Alexandria Communications is selling Regional Mexican “La Ley 99.5” KZLY Ione, OR to Xana Oregon for $66,500. Alexandria principal Tom Hodgins will hold 50% of the new owner, with Chris Jacky holding the other 50%. The station is operated by Tiffany Madrid Mota via Time Brokerage Agreement with an option to buy.
Alexandria is also selling three of their Yakima area translator Construction Permits. 104.5 K283BX Mabton, 106.1 K291BV Mabton, and 106.9 K295BT Wapato go to James Ingstad’s Ingstad Radio Washington for $275,000. Also included in the sale is a lease of an HD subchannel of Centro Familiar Cristiano’s 104.9 KYXE Union Gap.
Living Proof, Inc. sells 107.1 K296GT Mt. Lemmon/Tucson, AZ to Edgewater Broadcasting for $500. The translator will rebroadcast EMF’s 105.5 KLVA Maricopa/Phoenix.
Glades Media purchases 100.5 W263CJ Immokalee, FL from Calvary Chapel Church for $5,000.It will rebroadcast Glades’ 92.1 WAFZ-FM Immokalee.
Sam-Sno Educational Media purchases 102.1 K271CG Olympia, WA from Northwest Indy Media for $1.
