After 99.7 KHLT-FM Belle Plaine/Wichita KS was returned from Air Capitol Media Group to Daniel Smith’s Bad Gas Broadcast for forgiveness of $1,363,117.61 in debt in August, Smith is selling the station to La Raza, Inc for $1.65 million. The buyer has been operating KHLT-FM via LMA since Smith regained control of the license as Regional Mexican “La Raza 99.7“.
Calvary Chapel of Lynchburg has agreed to purchase Country “Big Country 105.3” WBNN-FM Dillwyn VA from WKGM Inc. for $90,000. Calvary Chapel of Lynchburg has applied to convert WBNN-FM to non-commercial status where it will join the buyer’s Christian “Equip-FM” network of 90.5 WWEQ Pamplin City and 91.7 WEQP Rustburg/Lynchburg.
After being announced last month, Delmarva Broadcasting has filed its deal to sell News/Talk 92.5 WICO-FM Pocomoke City MD to Greg Bojko’s GSB Broadcasting for $190,000.
Catholic operator Real Presence Radio acquires Duluth MN rimshot 88.1 WWEN Wentworth WI from American Family Association for $200,000.

First Ventures Capital Partners continues the sell-off of its translator assets from its online auction. 89.3 K207EB Redfield SD goes to Double Z Broadcasting for $35,000 to eventually rebroadcast Classic Country 1240 KDLR Devils Lake ND.
Brooke Ingstad’s Radio Wahpeton Breckenridge acquires 100.7 K264AY Chamberlain SD for $35,000. Ingstad acquired 1450 KBMW Breckenridge MN from her father James Ingstad last week.
A third First Ventures sale brings 88.5 W203BN Macon MS to Morgan Dowdy’s Coast Radio Group for $35,000. Dowdy purchased two other translators from First Ventures Capital Partners last week.
Edgewater Broadcasting sells 88.1 W201DB McRae GA to Our Three Sons Broadcasting for $35,000. Our Three Sons owns 1340 WRHI Rock Hill SC as a potential waiver relocation.
Louis De Sitter is gifting 95.9 K240DA Stevenson WA to Claudio Lopez and 107.7 K299BB The Dalles OR and the CP for 107.1 K296GO Parkdale OR to Radio Tierra. All translators are currently licensed to rebroadcast “Radio Tierra” 95.1 KZAS-LP Hood River OR.
