WLVE is promoting on its website the fact that the Smooth Jazz format will return after the New Year on an HD2 slot.
Original Entry 12/23/08: Yet another Smooth Jazz station will bite the dust this week as 93.9 WLVE Miami Beach, FL will change formats to Rhythmic AC as “93.9 MIA”. 939MIA.com was registered anonymously back on November 24 and transferred to the Clear Channel servers yesterday. The new station’s website can be seen at this moment at http://939mia.com/main.html. Core artists featured on the website include Jennifer Lopez, Prince, and Madonna.
WLVE is currently in all-Christmas music mode so we expect a flip will take place on December 26 or right after New Years.
