Fish Returns To Buz’n 102.9 Minneapolis

Entercom Country “Buz’n 102.9” KMNB Minneapolis has announced that Chris ‘Fish’ Shatek is returning to the station as Creative Imaging Director and midday host. Shatek previously served as night host and Imaging Director at KMNB from 2012-2015 before he transferred to sister Country 99.9 WKIS Miami where he most recently served as morning co-host. Shatek exited WKIS in June in order to move back to Minneapolis to be closer to family. Prior to joining KMNB in 2012, he hosted late nights at CHR 101.3 KDWB and mornings at Country “K102” KEEY in the Minneapolis market. Lucas Phelan Rises To KMNB Program Director

Entercom Country “Buz’n 102.9” KMNB Minneapolis has promoted Lucas Phelan from Assistant Program Director to Program Director. Phelan joines KMNB in October 2016 from iHeartMedia CHR 101.3 KDWB where he served as APD/MD/Afternoon Host and PD of Classic Hip-Hop “Hot 102.5” K273BH Fridley. Prior to coming to Minneapolis in 2005, Phelan worked in the Omaha and Kansas City markets. Phelan fills the opening created by Lauren Macleash’s exit earlier this year. Kenny Jay Named PD At KMPS Seattle

Program Director Kenny Jay is moving from CBS Country “Buz’n 102.9” KMNB Minneapolis to sister 94.1 KMPS Seattle. Jay fills the hole vacant since Ed Hill exited in April 2015. He has been with CBS since 2012 as APD and later PD of KMNB and has previously programmed in Savannah, Madison, and La Crosse WI. Carey Curelop, the CBS Seattle VP of Programming who has been handling the day-to-day programming at KMPS since last April, will return to focusing on Classic Rock 102.5 KZOK. Jay’s duties at KMNB will be absorbed by Operations Manager Lauren MacLeash.
