Cara Hahn Named Z100 And WLTW APD/MD

iHeartMedia has promoted Cara Hahn to Assistant Program Director and Music Director for CHR “Z100” WHTZ and AC “106.7 Lite-FM” WLTW New York. Hahn has served as a programming coordinator and Community Affairs Coordinator at iHeartMedia New York since graduating from Seton Hall University in 2014. She also programmed Seton Hall’s Rock 89.5 WSOU South Orange NJ while in school. At WLTW she succeeds Jill Kempton, who was promoted to Program Director of 97.1 WASH Washington DC today. WTOP Reclaims #1 Biller Status For 2015

A year after being knocked off their perch by iHeartMedia CHR 102.7 KIIS-FM Los Angeles, Hubbard News 103.5 WTOP Washington DC has reclaimed the spot as the nation’s top billing radio station in BIA/Kelsey’s annual report. WTOP and its suburban simulcasters had its revenue rise from $63.5 million in 2014 to $65 million in 2015 to regain the lead, while continuing to be the only station outside of the top three markets to appear in the top 10 list. WTOP has now been the top billing station for five out of the past six years. Five Clear Channel owned stations will begin simulcasting on XM Radio beginning tonight at midnight eastern time. Channel 11 will replace CHR “Kiss” with a simulcast of CHR 102.7 KIIS-FM Los Angeles. Channel 12 will replace Hot AC “Mix” with a simulcast of CHR “Z100” WHTZ New York. Channel 13 will replace AAA “Music Summit” with a simulcast of AC “106.7 Lite-FM” WLTW New York.
