Walnut Radio Acquires Omaha AM Pair From Salem

Walnut Radio has purchased Christian Preaching “660 The Word” KCRO/106.5 K293CJ and Conservative Talk “94.5 The Answer” 1420 KOTK/94.5 K233CO Omaha NE from Salem Media. The stations will be purchased by Walnut Radio affiliate Hickory Radio with Salem licensing the Word and Answer brands to the company. The stations will join Walnut’s Oldies “Boomer Radio” 1490 KOMJ/104.1 K281CJ Omaha in Walnut’s local cluster. -Salem Media Group (NASDAQ: SALM) announced today it has signed an agreement to sell KCRO-AM (660), KOTK-AM (1420), and affiliated translators to Hickory Radio.
