Daniel and Alana Hatfield’s Twin Ports Radio is restructuring as the couple sells a 60% stake in the company to John David Linder and Dwayne Megaw for $14. Upon completion of the deal Daniel Hatfield’s stake in the company will drop from 50 to 40 percent, Linder will own 40%, and Megaw the other 20%. Alana Hatfield’s 50% stake will be eliminated. Twin Ports Radio owns Sports “92.1 The Fan” WWAX Hermantown and “The Jock” 1490 KJOQ/100.9 K265DO Duluth MN. Mark Jorgenson’s ACM Dallas agreed to purchase 700 KHSE Wylie and 990 KFCD Farmersville, TX last month for $450,000. Before even closing on that acquisition, ACM Dallas has agreed to transfer KHSE to Hammond Broadcasting for $1.5 million. KHSE will join a Hammond group that also includes 1110 KVTT Mineral Wells and the operation of Liberman Broadcasting’s 104.9 KZMP-FM Pilot Point, TX. Both stations broadcast as South Asian “FunAsia Radio“. On the western fringes of the Washington, DC market, 1520 Radio Asia LLC is acquiring 1520 WTRI Brunswick, MD out of bankruptcy receivership controlled by Roger Rafson for $275,000. Roger and Nancy Anderson’s Southwest Media is converting its LMA of CHR “Hits 106” KFSZ Munds Park/Flagstaff, AZ from LKCM Radio Group into a purchase for $491,000. Operating as Great Circle Media, the buyers own five other stations in the Flagstaff market. Mark Jorgenson’s ACM Dallas is purchasing 700 KHSE Wylie and 990 KFCD Farmersville, TX in the Dallas/Fort Worth market from Barnard Dallas for $475,000. Jorgenson also is adding James Crystal Radio’s 1480 KBXD Dallas to his holdings in the market as part of his $5.5 million purchase of that company’s stations out of bankruptcy.
