People Moves 3/13: On-Air Lineup Restructuring Coming To 670 The Score Chicago

A lineup shakeup is taking place at Entercom Sports “670 The Score” WSCR Chicago. Robert Feder reports that Jared Goff is out as afternoon co-host with Dan McNeil likely to return to a fulltime position at the station for the first time since exiting middays in 2014. McNeil returned to WSCR in January to host a Sunday morning show after co-hosting mornings on Hubbard Classic Rock “97.1 The Drive” WDRV in 2015-16. The Chicago Tribune adds that McNeil is likely to be paired in afternoons with Danny Parkins, who joined WSCR as midday co-host in January 2017. Chris Wegmann Named Entercom New Orleans Market Manager

Entercom has announced that former Radio One Radio Division President Chris Wegmann will come out of retirement to serve as Vice President and Market Manager for its New Orleans cluster. Wegmann fills to opening created by the retirement of Chris Claus earlier this month. The 40 year radio veteran will oversee News/Talk 870 WWL/105.3 WWL-FM, Classic Rock “95.7 The Bayou” WKBU, CHR “B97” 97.1 WEZB, AC “Magic 101.9” WLMG, and Urban AC “Hot 103.7” 1350 WWWL/103.7 W279DF. Wegmann retired from his position at Radio One in April 2016. Sheriff Newell Normand Joins WWL For Middays

Entercom News/Talk 870 WWL/105.3 WWL-FM New Orleans has appointed Newell Normand as its new 10am-1pm host starting Monday, September 11. Norman has spent the last 37 years with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and will officially retire from his position running the department on August 31. He fills the opening created by the retirement of Garland Robinette earlier this month.
