The syndicated Elvis Duran Show remains in mornings, while On Air with Ryan Seacrest is added to the lineup for middays. Program Director Sean Strife moves to afternoons. Prior to joining KOSY-FM in February, Strife served as Seacrest’s producer at flagship 102.7 KIIS-FM Los Angeles. “103.5 Kiss-FM” WKSC-FM Chicago afternoon host Brady takes nights.
iHeartMedia CHR “Y95.7” KOSY-FM Anamosa/Cedar Rapids IA has named Sean Strife their new Program Director/Midday host. Strife joins KOSY from iHeartMedia’s Los Angeles cluster where he worked on Ryan Seacrest’s morning show at 102.7 KIIS-FM and on-air at Sports “AM 570” KLAC. Strife has previously worked in Gainesville and West Palm Beach FL. Clear Channel has flipped 95.7 KOSY-FM Anamosa, IA from News/Talk to CHR “Y95.7“. The new format brings a third CHR to the market where it joins KZIA Inc.’s “Z102.9” KZIA and Townsquare Media’s “i107.1” KRQN. KOSY-FM’s previous format was a partial simulcast with sister News/Talk 600 WMT Cedar Rapids, with both stations running different programming in middays and early evenings.

Update 1/2: The second part of the shift is now complete. 95.7 KKSY has flipped to News/Talk “95.7 WMT-FM“. Northpine.com reports that it isn’t a direct simulcast as 95.7 will air Glenn Beck from 9am to 12pm, while 600 WMT airs its existing local programming in that timeslot. Original Report 12/27: Clear Channel Hot AC “Mix 96.5” WMT-FM Cedar Rapids, IA has assumed the programming of sister “Kiss Country 95.7” KKSY. The new “Kiss Country 96.5” is currently simulcasting on both frequencies until a new format debuts on 95.7 in early 2012.
