Just weeks after losing the Program Director duties at “99.9 Kiss Country” WKIS-FM Boca Raton/Miami, Rob Morris has exited Entercom Miami completely. Morris had served as Vice President of Programming and Program Director of CHR “Power 96” 96.5 WPOW-FM since December 2014. Morris is best known for his seventeen year run programming iHeartMedia CHR 101.3 KDWB Minneapolis and later programmed for CBS Radio in Minneapolis and Tampa before heading to Miami. Mijo Joins Power 96 Miami For Nights

CBS Radio CHR “Power 96” 96.5 WPOW-FM Miami has announced the addition of Miguel ‘Mijo’ Irizarry for nights. Irizarry joins WPOW-FM from Mainestream Media Rhythmic CHR “Hot 104.7” WHTP Portland ME where has was Music Director/Afternoon Host. He has also worked at Cumulus Media’s “Hot 106.3” WWKX Providence and Beasley’s “Wired 96.5” WRDW-FM Philadelphia in his career. He fills the opening created by the move of Ivy Unleashed to afternoons last month. Ivy Unleashed Upon Power 96 Afternoons

CBS Radio Rhythmic CHR “Power 96” 96.5 WPOW Miami has promoted night host Ivy Unleashed to afternoons. Ivy has been with WPOW since 2002 moving up from researcher to eventually night host. She replaces ‘Afrika’ Perry who has exited the station last month. CBS RADIO Miami’s Power 96 (WPOW-FM) has elevated Ivy “Unleashed” to Afternoon Drive Host, Monday-Friday, 2 PM-7 PM, up from nights. CBS Beasley Deal Closes

Update 12/1: The swap between CBS and Beasley has closed with all the stations now under the management of their new ownership. No format changes have taken place at any of the stations. The companies have wasted no time in moving their new acquisitions to their corporate web platforms. All of the new CBS stations have moved over, while Beasley has moved their new Sports stations in Charlotte and Tampa over already. CBS And Beasley Swap Philadelphia/Miami For Charlotte/Tampa

CBS Radio and Beasley Broadcasting have agreed to exchange 19 stations in four markets. CBS will acquire five stations from Beasley: Country 92.5 WXTU and Rhythmic CHR “Wired 96.5” WRDW-FM Philadelphia along with Sports 560 WQAM, Rhythmic CHR “Power 96” WPOW-FM, and Country “99.9 Kiss Country” WKIS in Miami.
