Nick Wize Joins iHeartMedia Tucson As KMIY/KOHT/KRQQ APD

iHeartMedia has appointed Nick Wize as Assistant Program Director for Hot AC “My 92.9” KMIY, CHR “93.7 KRQ” KRQQ, and Rhythmic CHR “Hot 98.3” KOHT Tucson AZ. Wize will also host afternoons at KRQQ leading to an on-air personality shuffle. KRQQ/KOHT Program Director D-Wayne Chavez will move from afternoons on KRQQ to the same daypart on KOHT. Suzette Rodriguez will slide from afternoons to middays at KOHT replacing the voicetracked Angela Cortez. KLOU PD Dave Adams Moves To Tucson as SVP/Programming

Dave Adams, Program Director for iHeartMedia Classic Hits 103.3 KLOU and Christian AC “Up 103.7” K279AQ/KLOU-HD2 St. Louis is transferring to Tucson as Senior VP of Programming for the company’s seven station cluster. Clear Channel Shuffles Morning Shows In Tucson

Clear Channel has moved “Mojo In The Morning” from Rhythmic CHR “Hot 98.3” KOHT Tucson to sister Hot AC “My 92.9” KMIY. The program, based at “Channel 95.5” WKQI Detroit had been based at 93.7 KRQQ Tucson before moving to Detroit and later gaining the simulcast back to Tucson on 98.3. At KMIY the program replaces KBIG Los Angeles’ Valentine. At KOHT, the station ran jockless music this morning but Tucson Weekly reports that the station will begin airing the “Breakfast Club” based at “Power 105.1” WWPR New York.
