Pete Sheppard Joins 99.3 ESPN Fort Myers

Beasley Sports “99.3 ESPN” WWCN Fort Myers Beach FL has named Pete Sheppard as new co-host of its afternoon show with Craig Sheman. Sheppard joins WWCN from New England where he worked at multiple stations including Entercom Sports 93.7 WEEI-FM and “NBC Sports 1510” WUFC Boston and “ESPN New Hampshire” WGHM Nashua. WTLT Claims X Brand In Fort Myers

With Beasley merging Active Rock “99X” WJBX’s music into Hot Talk “96 K-Rock” WRXK, Sun Broadcasting has responded with a flip of its own to keep the X moniker live in the market. AC “Lite 93.7” WTLT Sanibel dropped its format and switched to Active Rock as “93X“. The new format is being branded as “New Rock. Beasley Plays Musical Chairs In Fort Myers

Beasley Sports “770 ESPN” WWCN North Fort Myers, FL will shift to the FM band on Thursday, June 20. The station will become “99.3 ESPN” displacing Active Rock “99X” WJBX. WWCN is currently heard on four translators to cover the Fort Myers/Naples market, but with some signal holes that the move will rectify. WWCN’s lineup currently consists of the national ESPN Radio lineup along with local afternoon show “Miller & Moulton” from 2-6pm.
