Station Sales Week Of 11/10

After closing on his $85,000 purchase of 1560 KKAA Aberdeen and 1380 KQKD Redfield SD from Family Stations, Robert Ingstad is transferring KKAA to I3G Radio for $60,000. Ingstad owns 1/3 of I3G Radio along with siblings Todd Ingstad and Tallie Colville. The family split the estate of their mother with sister Tanya ‘Tami’ Ingstad Knudson last week. John Cress’ Low Potosi LLC will acquire 96.7 K244CE Pahrump and 100.1 K261BZ Las Vegas NV from K244CE LLC for $1,000. The buyer states both translators will rebroadcast Faith Communications Christian AC 90.5 KSOS Las Vegas.

Armada Sells Six In South Dakota

Armada Media has sold its six Aberdeen/Redfield, SD stations to the newly created Prairie Winds Broadcasting. The new Prairie Winds, headed by Brian Lundquist, will continue to operate the stations under the “Hub City Radio” brand that Armada continued from its previous owner. Terms of the sale have yet to be disclosed. The stations included in the sale are: News/Talk 930 KSDN Aberdeen Sports “ESPN Aberdeen” 1420 KGIM/107.1 K296FM Aberdeen Rock “The Rock 94.1” KSDN-FM Aberdeen AC “Sunny 97.7” KNBZ Redfield Country “Pheasant Country 103.7” KGIM-FM Redfield CHR “The Point 106.7” KBFO Aberdeen Armada Media had acquired the stations from Aberdeen Radio Ranch for $9.25 million in 2006.
