Station Sales Bicoastal Media acquires Classic Hits 99.3 KCMD Grants Pass OR from Three Rivers Broadcasting for $225,000. Bicoastal began operating the station as part of its Medford cluster on Thursday, December 15 via LMA. Mercyhurst University is selling Oldies 1530 WMCE North East PA to Inspiration Time, Inc. for $30,000. The deal is contingent on approval of upcoming applications to move Christian AC 106.3 WCTL Union City closer to Erie, and WMCE to Union City. Educational Media Foundation acquires Silent 96.1 WOHA Ashtabula OH from Madison Media Partners for $100,000. WOHA will join EMF’s Christian AC “K-Love” network. FCC Applications 7/5: AM Changes In San Francisco & Twin Cities

Station Moves US International Radio’s pending acquisition Spanish Sports “ESPN Deportes 860” KTRB San Francisco seeks to combine its daytime and nighttime patterns onto the same tower. KTRB currently diplexes in the daytime on one of the four towers of Salem’s 1100 KFAX San Francisco with 50kW. At night KTRB applies to utilize all four of KFAX’s towers to operate with a directional 5kW pointed due west downgrading from the 50kW the station is currently operating with.

Station Sales Susan Uecker, the bankruptcy court appointed receiver for Pappas Radio of California, has sold Spanish Sports “ESPN Deportes 860” KTRB San Francisco to John Douglas’ U.S. International Radio for $6.5 million. Deportes Media of California, which operates the station via LMA, has right of first refusal to purchase the station through June 21, but has stated to the seller that it will not exercise that option. Mark Heller’s Metro North Communications sells Easy Listening 98.9 WEMP Two Rivers, WI to Seehafer Broadcasting for $380,000. WEMP will join a Seehafer cluster including AC “Lake 98.1” WLKN, Classic Rock “Q102.3” WQTC, and Talk 1240 WOMT. WEMP already operates out of the same building as Seehafer’s stations. FCC Applications 4/26: Next Phase Of Salt Lake Shuffle Upcoming

Station Moves The long gestating frequency shuffle involving many Salt Lake City area frequencies is coming even closer to fruition. iHeartMedia’s 105.7 KNRS-FM Centerville and 106.5 KAAZ-FM Spanish Fork have applied to make their moves to 105.9 and 106.7 respectively. Neither station will make any other change to their facility. While 106.9 KEGH Brigham City to 107.1 Woodruff, 107.5 KKLV Orem to Kaysville, and 107.9 KUDD Roy to Randolph are built-out and awaiting the rest of the chain to be completed, after the two iHeart station moves, 105.3 KDWY Diamondville, WY to the Humpy site on 105.5 Oakley, UT, 106.1 KBMG Evanston, WY to 106.3, and other out of market moves will still need to be completed. Catholic Radio Network sells Silent 1570 KPIO Loveland/Denver, CO to Loveland Radio Partners for $10 and the cancellation of $569,000 worth of debt related to the 2009 acquisition of KPIO. Catholic Radio Network moved their programming to 1060 KRCN Longmont earlier this year. Youngers Colorado Broadcasting is swapping Silent 99.3 KPCR Fowler/Pueblo, CO to Way Media for the CP for 93.9 K230BO Westcreek, CO. Youngers will then sell K230BO to Mountain Community Translators for $25,000. Lamb of God Communications sells Catholic 91.7 WLGO Ashtabula, OH to the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago for $160,000.
