Mid-Utah Radio has flipped Hot AC “93.7 Sky-FM” KKUT Mount Pleasant/Provo UT to Country “93.7 The Wolf“. The new format matches the branding of sister “97.7 The Wolf” KWUT Elsinore, which serves the area south of Provo. However there is no simulcast in place. The flip gives the Provo/Utah County area its own Country station, although the three Salt Lake City Country stations reach the area.

Last week Educational Media Foundation sought a STA to complete the move of 106.3 W292DH Uniontown, PA into Pittsburgh while it sought out issues with the Federal Aviation Administration. The FAA issued a Notice of Presumed Hazard for W292DH’s 250 watt at 165 meters Construction Permit. The STA sought to begin operations at that facility with just 46 watts. But as the city-of-license was to remain in Uniontown the STA would not reach that city nor could it be used to build out a CP, it was declined by the FCC. W292DH is due to rebroadcast iHeartMedia Sports “970 ESPN” WBGG Pittsburgh via a Mattoon Waiver. Translator Moves
