With its CP to sign-on set to expire at the end of the month, The Gabriel Project has applied to modify 95.9 WGPI Columbus, IN to operate with 6kW at 46 meters (Coverage Map) in order to get the station on-air in time.
Great Plains Media has applied for a booster for its Country “107.7 The Bull” WIBL Fairbury, IL in Bloomington. WIBL-1 will operate with 2.65kW at 40 meters (Coverage Map).
Ondas de Vida Network’s 94.7 K234BS Las Vegas has filed a displacement application to relocate to 103.1 with 50 watts at 110 meters (Coverage Map).
After launching Classic Rock “Rock 94.9” W235BS Birmingham, Mark Snow has applied to increase the station’s power from 70 watts at 299 meters to 88 watts. The translator is operating rebroadcasting Clear Channel’s 103.7 WQEN-HD3 as opposed to 102.5 WDXB-HD2 (Coverage Map).
Georgia-Carolina Radiocasting has applied to make modifications to a pair of its translators. 96.5 W243CI Elberton, GA held a CP to relocate to Anderson, SC but now seeks to change city of license to Athens, GA on 99.7 with 250 watts at 146 meters rebroadcasting 105.3 WSGC-FM Tignall, GA (Coverage Map). Meanwhile, the CP for 99.5 W258CC Athens seeks to increase power from 38 to 250 watts at 382 meters by moving to 92.7 (Coverage Map).
WSPY-TV, Inc. has applied to relocate 96.9 W245CE Wilmington, IL to Morris rebroadcasting Grundy County Broadcasters 1550 WCSJ Morris with 250 watts at 79 meters (Coverage Map).
The University of Oregon is applying to increase 92.7 K224EU Corvallis, OR from 5 to 99 watts at 323 meters on 92.9. The translator will rebroadcast Classical 91.9 KWAX Eugene (Coverage Map).
Brigham Young University-Idaho’s 95.1 K236BS Jerome County, ID applies to move to Twin Falls with 250 watts at 62 meters rebroadcasting Locally Owned Radio’s “I-Rock 102.1” KIRQ Kimberly.

Richard Foreman, the court appointed receiver for Pembrook Pines Inc. has sold its four stations and four translators in and around Elmira, NY to Gordon Ichikawa’s Tower Broadcasting for $1.13 million. The stations involved in the deal are Sports 1410 WELM Elmira, Standards 1600 WEHH Elmira Heights-Horseheads, CHR “94 Rock” WLVY Elmira, and Country 99.5 WOKN Southport and translators 93.7 W229AR Waverly, 93.7 W229AS Corning, 93.9 W230BB Elmira, and 102.5 W273AC Corning. These are Ichikawa’s first broadcast holdings, however he owns multiple tower sites in the Southern Tier of New York.
La Mas Mexicana is selling 1140 KLTK Centerton/Fayetteville, AR to Radio Las Americas Arkansas for $400,000. The deal is a revision of the station’s existing Time Brokerage Agreement.
Calvary Chapel of The Finger Lakes is selling the CP for 100.1 W261CR Darien Center, NY to HPL Communications for $42,500. Concurrently they have applied to relocate the translator to Batavia where it will operate with 250 watts at 46 meters rebroadcasting HPL’s News/Talk 1490 WBTA Batavia (Coverage Map).
In September 2013, Fowler Broadcast Communications agreed to purchase 1500 WZZQ Gaffney, SC and an option for 104.3 W282AX Gaffney from Gaffney Broadcasting for $220,000. Fowler has now filed to exercise that option for no additional cost.
Last week Connor Media applied to relocate 100.7 W264CU Hickory, NC to Statesville to rebroadcast 1400 WSIC Statesville. Now Iredell Broadcasting, the owners of WSIC is applying to purchase W264CU for $85,000.
Western North Carolina Public Radio has agreed to sell the CP for 107.9 W300CJ Hendersonville, NC to Radio Hendersonville for $55,000. Radio Hendersonville will rebroadcast Full Service Oldies 1450 WHKP Hendersonville on the translator.
As 97.3 K247BZ Port Lavaca, TX has completed its move to Victoria as 97.5 K248CS, Wildcatter Wireless is selling the translator to Victoria Radioworks for $40,000. K248CS will rebroadcast 1410 KNAL Victoria.
