Federated Media Country “B100” WBYT South Bend IN Program Director/afternoon host Jesse Garcia has added PD duties for sister “K105” WQHK Huntertown/Fort Wayne.
Garcia has programmed WBYT since 2010 after previous roles including as Operations Manager for NRG Media Wausau WI, Program Director of KCCY Colorado Springs and WXXQ Rockford IL, and APD/MD of WDAF-FM Kansas City. He commented, “I’m excited to join the K105 team and the Federated Media family in Fort Wayne. I’m looking forward to getting connected with the community and having some fun doing it.”
Federated Media Director of Operations Kyle Guderian said, “Jesse has built an incredibly strong country brand in our South Bend market, and he’s earned this opportunity in Fort Wayne. Extending his leadership to K105 was a natural fit. He knows the format, he knows our company, and he knows how to connect with listeners.”
Garcia succeeds Jimmy Knight, who exited last week after a fifteen year run as OM/PD of WQHK and Hot AC 97.3 WMEE.
