Update 12/14: VARTV.com confirms our report and expands on it. Classic Country WZBL “The Bull” will move from 104.9 to 106.1 as we reported yesterday. Additionally, CHR WJJS/WJJX will move from 106.1 and 101.7 to 104.9 and 102.7 and AC WSNV “Sunny 93.5” shifts its Lynchburg simulcast from 102.7 WSNZ to 101.7. Clear Channel has placed 93.5, 101.7, and 106.1 into a trust and will need to spin those frequencies off as part of its privatization plan.

A recent domain registration 1061thebull.com redirects users to 1049thebull.com, the website of Classic Country WZBL. 106.1 is currently CHR “Jammin JJS” WJJS Vinton which simulcasts on 101.7 WJJX Lynchburg, however the Class C2 104.9 signal gets out much further than 106.1’s Class A Signal.
