I&#39;ve been inside a few times. 1550 started as WMIR, a real local station for Lake Geneva. It became WAUX, rebroadcasting the WAUK&#39;s all sports programming, before going all Catholic as WZRK. I think the nighttime signal was 1 watt!</p> <p>From All Access:</p> <p>SOVEREIGN CITY RADIO SERVICES, LLC is transferring the license of Silent WZRK-A/LAKE GENEVA, WI to GS RADIO OF ILLINOIS, LLC, a 50/50 partnership with GRUNDY COUNTY BROADCASTERS, in a deal that enables the station to move closer to CHICAGO and then be sold.
