Hi!
On kroktalk.com's blog WMAC-AM's morning man Chris Krok included an MP3 of a meeting between himself, Bibb County GA Commissioner Joe Allen, and Cumulus Macon MM John Rodriguez. It is quite entertaining.

The commissioner has a charity, Kids Yule Love, and took exception to alleged comments on Krok's radio show per the charity . You get to hear Krok call Mr. Allen a "coward" and "little man" while Mr. Allen threatens to fetch a lawyer. Krok recorded this thinking that Mr. Allen was to threaten him with physical violence and says on the cut that Allen "got in (his) face.

Partake of the MP3 soon as the link may go away.

Merry Christmas
This is a sad, sad day.

Skip Caray was a fixture of my afternoons as a teenager. I grew up out in the middle of nowhere, and we didn't have cable, so the only way I could keep up with the Braves (and MLB as a whole) was to listen to the Braves Radio Network. Skip, Pete, Don and Joe always painted the picture for me, and it was like being there at the ballpark. Skip was always my favorite...I loved his dry sense of humor which was tempered only by his passion for the Braves. I enjoyed how excited he would get in those close games, particularly between the 91 and 95 seasons when everything was so nip-and-tuck. He gave it dramatic tension.

I found an old tape I made during the '91 season. Linked here is a composite of some of the game in which the Braves clinched a division tie. It's Skip as I remember him.
I have a few airchecks of a few recent Loveline Shows I mean within the last year in 2007, if you're interested let me know and I'll send them to you. Now you're not able to download the shows unless you pay a rediculous amount of money to become a member
Well, mostly the tornadoes that hit the Macon, GA area got knocked out either by the Tornadoes themselves or by lightning, one of the popular stations in the Macon Area WPEZ (Z93.7) their transmitter from what I hear their transmitter was struck by lightning, but other than that everything seemed to be going well, here's some links for more info if your interested:

http://www.z937.com/home.php

That's the site's home page

http://www.wmac-am.com/closings.htm

This has all the closings and stuff

Both have live internet feeds so I'm sure they have some coverage of the storm. But other than that the only other way that they have covered the storm is through TV where 13 WMAZ has been doing continuing coverage all day here's their website:

http://www.13wmaz.com

Hope this info was helpful!
