It's been a year since I was there. I'll be back in mid August. Any big changes take place within the last year?

I was vacationing along the Crystal Coast again this summer and thoroughly enjoyed listening to BOB. They have quite a signal, by the way. I even noticed Gina Gray moved there from the Hot FM.

Had a great time, by the way.

it looks like they switched to classic hits with imus in the morning as kool 94.1,
I'm in Ohio but I used to check out "The Hot FM" while I'd be vacationing in the Outer Banks every summer. Now I see their website is gone and they seem to have changed to something else. What's the scoop?

99.1 WZFX just turned on their HD signal this week.

Heard on their HD2 signal is what I would describe as New Rock with a Hip Hop tune mixed in once and a while.

PLEASE PLEASE folks, keep the new rock. It is very refreshing!

It seems like many broadcasters in NC have given up on AM. All, except WBT and now WTSB (now that WMPM has moved there), are treated like step children.

Come on NC Broadcasters. Lets use the channels and make the compelling to listen to!
Pirate Radio 1250/930. Those guys work a **** of a lot harder than most everyone else in radio around here.

They've also managed to get college students listening to radio. That's an accomplishment!
