Former 96.3 WDVD Detroit morning co-host Allyson Martinek is returning to the market as co-host of iHeartMedia AC 100.3 WNIC’s “Jay Towers In The Morning”.
Martinek spent two decades at WDVD (and its predecessors) prior to being let go in July 2015. The announcement of her hiring was timed to the launch of the station going all-Christmas for the season.
100.3 WNIC, Playing Music From The ‘80s Til’ Now in Detroit, announced today that Allyson Martinek was named co-host on the Jay Towers In The Morning Show, effective immediately.
As a new on-air personality for the Jay Towers In The Morning Show, Martinek will wake up Detroit listeners with a variety of music and her fun take on pop culture as well as local and national news.
