Recently launched Alternative “Alt 104.9” KLLT Columbia IL/St. Louis has named Dustin Fletcher as its first Program Director.
Fletcher joins KLLT from iHeartMedia sister Alternative “XL 102” WRXL and Classic Rock “96.1 The Planet” W241AP Richmond VA where he served as PD and midday host of WRXL. He has also worked at WDYL Richmond, WNFZ Knoxville, and WFNX Boston during his career.
Fletcher’s hiring will reunite him with iHeartMedia St. Louis VP/Programming A.J. who previously filled the same position in Richmond.
iHeartMedia announced today that Dustin Fletcher has been named Program Director of ALT 104.9, St. Louis’ Alternative Rock, effective December 6, 2016.
Fletcher will work closely with on-air personalities, including The Woody Show, as well as sales to oversee on-air, digital and music programming for ALT 104.9 and its local events. He will report to A.J., Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia St. Louis.

Fletcher recently served as Program Director and Midday Host for for iHeartMedia Richmond’s XL102 and 96.1 The Planet. Fletcher has previously worked at stations including: WFNX-FM in Boston, MA; WFXH-FM in Savannah, GA; WDYL-FM in Richmond, VA; and WFNZ in Knoxville, TN.

ALT 104.9 launched on October 18 and plays hits from artists including Foo Fighters, Green Day, Blink-182, twenty one pilots, Red Hot Chili Peppers and others. The station also broadcasts The Woody Show from 6 to 10 a.m.
