Billy Madison Show Rock 98.9 KVRQ SeattleHubbard Radio Rock “Rock 98.9” KVRQ Seattle has announced the addition of The Billy Madison Show for mornings starting Monday, April 24.

Based at Cox Media’s 99.5 KISS-FM San Antonio, KVRQ becomes Madison’s sixth and largest market. The show also airs in Corpus Christi, Palm Springs, Salisbury and Tampa.

KVRQ had been jockless in mornings since it launched its Rock format in March 2016.

Hubbard Radio Seattle welcomes The Billy Madison Show, Mornings on ROCK 98.9 KVRQ. The announcement came today from Marc Kaye, Hubbard Radio VP/Market Manager Seattle.

“Billy had me at hello”, said VP/Market Manager Marc Kaye.  “The first time I met Billy, Derek and Nard, I knew the Billy Madison Show was going to be a part of Rock 98.9 and a huge part indeed.” Dave Numme, KVRQ’s Program Director commented, “The Billy Madison show is just fun to listen to.  Billy, Derek and Nard are friends who rip on each other and pull the listener along for a good time.  Billy is smart and curious performer.  ?This is a break out show for The New Rock 98.9.  Seattle now has a very unique and funny choice for mornings.”

The Billy Madison Show is syndicated by United Stations. Seattle makes the sixth, and largest market, for the show. Billy is the leader of a group of passionate, curious and “unique” individuals that work hard and know how to blend great original content, lifestyle entertainment, and rock music targeted to active adults. “Nard” ?is a former listener of the show that was given a job after Billy helped him find a girlfriend. Derek is Billy’s “right hand man”, offers his opinion on many topics and is the sports fan on the show.

The Show takes over mornings starting Monday, April 24th.
