Positioning as “New Country Now”, the launch sees the addition of the Bobby Bones Show for mornings while former morning hosts Opie Joe and Carina Lime moving to afternoons. Dana Lundon continues to track middays from sister 104.7 WZZK Birmingham.
SummitMedia Knoxville has launched a new Country radio station for East Tennessee, 100.3 The Wolf. The Wolf is a fresh, energized Country radio station built around entertainment and New Country music.
The Wolf will be anchored by the nationally known Bobby Bones Show live from Nashville weekday mornings from 6am until 10am. Bobby’s show will give unprecedented access to Country stars and their lives. The popular Opie and Carina show moves to the afternoon from 3pm until 7pm.

Morning hosts Opie Joe & Carina Lime remain with the station, however they may be moving to new timeslots as the Bobby Bones Show website had begun listing WCYQ on its affiliates page.
WCYQ currently ranks fifth in the Knoxville market with a 4.9 share, still well behind Cumulus Media’s market leading 107.7 WIVK and its 10.8 share.
