Update 9/8: WARM-FM relaunched as “Wink 103” at midnight tonight.
The new Wink 103’s music is nearly identical to its sister up the road in Harrisburg. The two stations will both air WNNK’s “Denny, Sue & Matt” morning show and the syndicated Billy Bush at night, but separate lineups the rest of the day. Former WARM-FM morning host Traci Taylor slides to middays, while midday host Bobby D takes afternoons.
Original Report 9/7: Cumulus is giving its heritage “Wink” brand in Harrisburg, PA a second home in Central Pennsylvania.
AC “Warm 103.3” WARM-FM York, PA will shift to Adult CHR as “Wink 103” duplicating the name and format of sister “Wink 104” WNNK Harrisburg.
A jingle package for Wink 103 was registered by Jam Creative Productions and Wink103.com was registered by Cumulus back in March.
While there is quite a bit of signal overlap between the two stations, they do serve unique markets. WNNK mainly serves the Harrisburg market, with WARM-FM focusing on York and Lancaster. We are interested to see how this works out from a ratings perspective since both stations may be written in a diary as “Wink”.
