Connoisseur Media’s newly launched “103.1 The Wolf” WWWF-FM Bay Shore NY will debut Compass Media Networks’ “Big D & Bubba” in mornings on Monday, May 6.
The show is based in Nashville featuring Derek ‘Big D’ Haskins, Sean ‘Bubba’ Powell, OM/Executive Producer Jonathan Shaffer, and Director of Operations Jessica ‘Carsen’ Humphreville. The duo first teamed together in Baton Rouge in 1996 and relocated to Nashville in 2003 when they joined 97.9 WSIX. They launched their own company, Silverfish Media in 2013 to manage the show.
Connoisseur Long Island Operations Manager and WWWF-FM Program Director Patrick Shea stated, “We’re thrilled to introduce Big D & Bubba to Long Island and 103.1 The Wolf. How would Derek Haskins know that ‘the WOLF” HAS A “winning team” when the WOLF has not finished its first ratings book? Speaking for myself only, I doubt that country will ever make it on a Long Island (or NYC) radio station.
