Active Rock “92.7 The Bone” KFNL Kindred/Fargo, ND went dark on February 28.
The station debuted its now former identity in March 2012 following its acquisition from Northwestern College assuming the format of “Rock 102” 101.9 KRWK following that station’s flip to News/Talk. The station, while owned by Robert Ingstad’s Mediactive LLC, was operated by his brother James’ Radio Fargo-Moorhead. Midwest Communications announced its acquisition of Radio Fargo-Moorhead in September 2012 and is awaiting closing of that deal.
Can I assume that KNFL will be sold with the subsequent purchaser putting it back on the air??
Not necessarily. The current owner could still decide to operate it or find another group to lease it.
Rock 102 was a classic rocker.
I think someone should buy it and make it 92.7 The Beat Fargo’s Party Station to take on Y94.
