We start in Milwaukee, where two AM’s appear headed for the FM band. The Milwaukee Radio Alliance has agreed to purchase 100.3 W289CB Milwaukee from Mary Medicus for $150,000. The translator CP, currently licensed to operate with 12 watts at 67.9 meters, will be used to rebroadcast Standards “1290 Martini Radio” WZTI.
Meanwhile Kevin J. Youngers’ 105.7 W289CB Milwaukee has applied to relocate to 105.1 where it will operate with 10 watts. The application specifies Entercom’s “SportsRadio 1250” WSSP as the originating station.
Reach Communications has proposed relocating 107.3 W297BB De Bary, FL into Orlando operating with 250 watts at 129 meters. The translator will rebroadcast an HD subchannel of Cox’ 94.5 WCFB Daytona Beach.
Barry Magrill’s 99.5 W258CN Jacksonville, FL seeks to modify its CP from operating with 3 watts to 235 watts. The translator will be utilized to rebroadcast Gospel “1050 The Rose” WROS Jacksonville.
Educational Media Foundation applied to relocate its pending acquisition 103.7 K279BX Knoxville, IA into Des Moines with 250 watts rebroadcasting an HD subchannel of Clear Channel’s 106.3 KPTL Ankeny.
Florida Talk Radio’s 106.9 W295BH Sarasota proposes to relocate to a new tower in Bradenton where it will increase in power from 55 watts to 250. The translator will continue to rebroadcast Talk 1220 WSRQ Sarasota.
98.3 W252CT Bangor, ME will receive a new owner as Stephen King’s Zone Radio will acquire the translator from David Stout for $80,000. W252CT will bring Liberal Talk “620 The Pulse” WZON to the FM band.
