With the syndicated Walton & Johnson departing Entercom Classic Rock “Bayou 95.7” WKBU New Orleans, the station has tabbed John Osterlind to fill the slot starting Monday, January 9.
Osterlind previously hosted 5-8pm at iHeartMedia Talk 99.5 WRNO until being laid off in January 2015. Prior to coming to New Orleans he worked at Rock stations in the northeast under the on-air name ‘Ozone’ including nine years at Entercom’s 107.3 WAAF Boston. He made the move to talk in 2001 co-hosting mornings at Entercom’s 680 WRKO Boston with congressman Peter Blute.
