Entercom Rhythmic CHR “Power 96” 96.5 WPOW-FM Miami is seeking a new morning host to join Lucy Lopez.
Yojhans ‘JP’ Perez exited the position earlier this month after twelve years at the station. JP joined Power 96 as an intern in 2005 and later moved up to nights and then mornings in 2012.

Dave Stewart is returning to Classic Hits 101.1 WCBS-FM New York for weekends/fill-in just six months after exiting his position as overnight host. Stewart first joined WCBS-FM in 2012 after spending 22 years at Hot AC 95.5 WPLJ.
Entercom has appointed Brian Rooney as VP/Director of Sales for its New York cluster.
Rooney returns to the cluster after previously serving as Sales Manager for Sports 660 WFAN/101.9 WFAN-FM from 2007-2015. He most recently served as VP/Sales for iHeartMedia Talk 710 WOR, Classic Rock “Q104.3” WAXQ, and the New York Mets Radio Network from 2015-2017.

iHeartMedia News/Talk 600 KOGO San Diego has announced it has signed Carl DeMaio to an extension to continue hosting “The DeMaio Report” from 3-6pm.
iHeartMedia San Diego announced today that it has renewed its agreement with Carl DeMaio to host The DeMaio Report for News Radio 600 KOGO, San Diego’s News & Information Station. DeMaio will continue to broadcast weekdays 3 – 6 p.m.
The DeMaio Report features DeMaio candidly discussing the latest in local and national political headlines, policies and reform. The show also features input and commentary from listeners, fueling political conversation and engagement in the larger San Diego community.
“When we started The DeMaio Report, we wanted a forum for San Diegans to share dialogue about important issues and also a vehicle for taking action on problems; I’m thrilled we are accomplishing both goals,” said DeMaio. “I’m excited by the impact we’ve already had on important issues like the California Gas Tax and look forward to tackling many more issues in the years to come.”
Prior to broadcasting, DeMaio built a successful business and political career with a focus on holding government accountable, and offering creative solutions to public challenges. In 2008, he was elected to the San Diego City Council. When the city was facing an uncertain financial future, DeMaio’s Roadmap to Recovery reform plan was instrumental in fixing San Diego’s debt issues. In addition to hosting his daily news and talk show on News Radio 600 KOGO, DeMaio tackles state-wide, fiscal reform policy in his role as Chairman of Reform California and the Transitions in Governance Project at the Performance Institute.
