Mid-West Family Broadcasting Rhythmic CHR “92.9 The Beat” KOSP Ozark/Springfield MO has announced a new on-air lineup.
Afternoon host Amber Nix moves to mornings to join incumbent host Lauren as “2 Chicks and a Mic”. The show is being promoted as the first all-female morning show in the Springfield market. The move of Nix to mornings fills the opening created by Chris Combs exit to join Entercom Country “106.5 The Wolf” WDAF-FM Kansas City last fall.
Joining the station for middays is Dustin ‘Mason’ Males. Mason had been hosting nights across town at Scripps CHR “Power 96.5” KSPW for the past five years. Program Director Bailey moves from middays to afternoons.

Lauren hails from Michigan and is so excited to experience firsthand all that Springfield and The Ozarks have to offer. When she’s not on the airwaves, you’ll find her down at Hammond’s Field for some Cardinals games, at one of Springfield’s breweries, or down at the local record shop digging for vinyl! Amber Nix, originally from Maryland, now calls Springfield home! She’s a huge foodie and shopaholic, loves craft beer and wine, listens to all types of music, and enjoys seeing live shows!
