After beginning to operate Eldora Broadcasting Company’s two stations in May, Shawn Dietz’ OnTheGoMedia flipped AC “Soft Rock 92.9” KDAO-FM Eldora/Marshalltown IA to 90s Hits “Rewind 93” on Monday, July 6.

The station is focusing on Pop and Rock hits from the decade mentioning core songs such as Matchbox 20 “3AM”, “Sheryl Crow “All I Wanna Do”, Alanis Morissette “Ironic”, and Goo Goo Dolls “Iris”.

Dietz commented, “We are incredibly excited to introduce Rewind 93 to our listeners, but this transition is about much more than a new music format. By bringing KDAO-FM into the RadioOnTheGo network, we are doubling down on local news, sports, and weather. Our goal is to keep our audience informed as well as entertained and engaged, while providing advertising clients valuable access to that audience.”

OnTheGoMedia began operating KDAO-FM and sister Oldies 1190 KDAO/103.7 K279AN Marshalltown and 94.3 K232GG Grundy Center on May 1. The company also owns Classic Hits “99 The Wave” 98.9 KQCR-FM Parkersburg and Country/Classic Rock 104.9 KLMJ-FM Hampton IA along with the Hampton Chronicle newspaper
