We are Great Plains Media—proudly locally owned and growing. Last year, we added another radio station to our family: Bob FM 97.9. While our core business is radio, these days we offer every type of digital advertising a business could need to get results.

At Great Plains Media, we’re looking for a Multi-Media Account Executive who thrives on competition…someone who loves meeting people, understanding their business, and crafting solutions that get real results. You’ll use digital, radio, digital TV, billboards—and even high school sports and basketball coverage—everything a business could need—to connect with the community and make an impact.. Every business needs advertising and we have all the options they need to grow.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and personalized service, ensuring their advertising needs are met with tailored multi-platform solutions.
Lead business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities within the radio, digital, and television markets to expand the agency’s client base.
Conduct warm calling campaigns to generate leads, follow up on prospects, and close sales efficiently.
Develop comprehensive media proposals that align client goals with strategic marketing plans across radio, digital channels, and TV.
Negotiate contracts and pricing structures to maximize revenue while delivering value to clients.
Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage client information, and analyze account performance for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with creative teams and media planners to craft compelling campaigns that leverage the latest technology sales trends and marketing strategies.
Analyze market data and campaign metrics to optimize media placements and demonstrate ROI to clients.
Provide leadership within your team by sharing insights on sales techniques, industry trends, and account management best practices.

Proven success in B2B sales within media or advertising sectors, especially radio, digital platforms, or television.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value deals.
Experience in business development and account management with a focus on technology-driven sales solutions.
Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—that enable effective client presentations and team collaboration.
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing sales pipelines and analyzing data.
Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and campaign performance metrics for strategic decision-making.
Knowledge of marketing principles, media buying processes, and advertising technology tools.
Ability to lead initiatives independently while working collaboratively within a team environment.
