Former “106.5 The End” WEND Salisbury/Charlotte NC PD/Afternoon Host Jack Daniel is joining Beasley Media AC “K104.7” WKQC and Southern Rock “94.7 Smoke” 1660 WBCN/W234BY Charlotte NC for afternoons starting Monday, April 2.
Daniel has been a stalwart in the Charlotte market since 1975. He exited WEND in August 2017 after serving as its Program Director since its launch in 1995. He also served as General Manager for Pyramid Broadcasting’s 95.1 WEDJ, 99.7 WRFX and 610 WAQS, Operations Manager and PD for 96.1 WWMG and 102.9 WLKO, and on-air at multiple other stations.
Daniel will host afternoons on both stations.

Daniel has been on the Charlotte airwaves since 1975 and has over 47 years of experience in the radio industry, having hosted morning shows in the Charlotte, Greenville, Rocky Mount North Carolina and York, South Carolina markets. In addition, he has worked as a program director, vice-president & general manager, operations manager and a music director.
